AUTISM
After being late diagnosed autistic at 27 I developed a strong (to put it mildly) interest in all things autism. Over the span of about 4 years, I wrote about my post-diagnostic experience along with some bits and pieces on autism science and advocacy, which can still be found on my blog.
&
However…
After undergoing a sort of burnout and associated identity crisis/awakening of another sort 🌈, I found my interest in autism started to wane, and my focus diversified into other areas. I felt drawn to start writing on these new (and in some cases re-discovered) interests, including LGBTQ+ issues, emotional wellbeing, self-help, psychology, travel, social justice, and (most recently) buddhism and meditation… And to explore some of the ways in which these intersect with autistic experience.
But as a result of the burnout I started having a lot of trouble with reading & writing, motivation and executive functioning, and this blog (along with various other projects) stagnated as a result. It is still my intention to keep this site going and hopefully with time to start posting more regularly again.
